Scrapbooking 101- Getting Started With Scrapbooking Ideas

Scrapbooking ideas are easy if you know where to find them.  The internet is one of the easiest resources.  All it takes is a little inspiration and a supplier, and you will be on your way to scrapbooking bliss.  There are also several books available with all types of ideas for layouts.  There are also books available with  titles and phrases, or poems.

But before you start getting crazy laying out all those pictures, you are going to need a few scrapbooking items.  For me, I love to shop at Scrapbook.Com because everything I need is in there.  It is one stop shopping.

The first thing you need to do is to organize your photos.  Your photos dictates what theme, color or story you are going to tell.  It may be a family vacation, wedding or birthday party.  By grouping, or re-arranging the photos, you will develop some great scrapbook layouts. Again, Scrapbook.Com gallery has lots of scrapbook layouts.  You can select from themes, techniques, colors, you name it.

Once you come up with the layout, and have the supplies and embelishments ready, you can start pulling them all together.

Remember, in scrapbooking, there is no right or wrong.  Bottom line is, this is your art, and your masterpiece, as you continue you will learn more and more ideas and techniques.
